Change them to PNG's by loading them on paint, cropping them and saving them as PNG's.

On the VS. Those armor sheets fail hard. And AI bots don't go for the back. Get some protection for your front.

On lil nipper you only need 3 ants, and on Speed Scratch you only need 2. The weapons on Destroyer have normals, which means they only do damage at the tip. Swap the teeth out for razor tips. Give Destroyer 2WD NPC drive, then Destroyer will only need 3 ants. The thwackbot's extender is weak, and ice picks have normals. Give the thwack 2 razor tips instead.

It seems you understood the deal about batteries, wheels and empty space.

But all of the bots (excepted the VS) need to be invertible and your BW really needs more weapons.

Also stronger 2WD is better than 4WD.

Not anymore, he is using NAR AI - but in DSL 2.1 tournaments, they will.

It's hard to make the chassis smaller than it already is. oh and whitch beetle weight?

Either you edit the bot file (i did it on Berserker), either you just really click one pixel under the bottom end of the ruler when selecting the chassis height.

Google Notepad++ and use it, it will help you a lot. It's an advanced version of Notepad specially for coding.


For BFE'ing the chassis height, you simply need to find a special part in the file:

Here. That 0.338182 is the chassis height in general (0.338182 is the minimum attainable height in the bot lab if i remember well).


Use the Replace tool for changing it because you will have to replace the other vector vertical values that have the same value (there are 12 others in a square chassis)

ok, do i size down the picture in paint by draging the picture inwards to the robot screen?
and to naryar, can you tell me the size the robot needs to be to be invertible with hypno wheels?
