hi ive saw a lot of other peoples showcases and i thought about starting my own.

im sort of new to RA2, ive had it for about 7 or 8 months now and ive been a member of this forum for about 1 and a half.

ive never really been good at making robots but ive started making replicas and stuff.

i wont show my replicas because it will just take up space.

i know about DSA aswell and i use it as much as possible.Heres the first bot that i have created ( other than the replicas)

Its called Protected

its a medium speed bot powered by four NPC - T64's and runs
on Techno wheels.

Main Weapon : DSL Hammerhead 4
Other Weapons : 4 Lightning spikes

Strengths : Powerful Hammer
Can self right
Low wedge

Weaknesses : Flippers can easily get under DSL bars

Don't mix DSL and stock.

thats not from stock

it was a compnent that i got somewhere and its just a more powerful version of it

i couldnt find a DSL Burst that was as good as it or i would have used it

Edit : The extender is out of DSL its the steel extender

Don't mix stock with DSL with custom.

i know its not allowed in tournaments

ive got another robot ready im just transferring it from my laptop to my uncles

If you want to mix it's better that you post it in the "custom component showcase". Due to balance issues, DSL showcase is intended for bots with dsl components only. After all, since custom part can have any properties, we can't really say much about your bot aside from aesthetic.

the robot that im transferring will be a few minutes more because it has some issues and i want to sort them first

Edit : Heres the bot.

Its called Mad Cheese

i got the name because the shape looks a bit like wheelie big cheese and it used to have a flipper at the front

Its another medium speed bot with 2 NPC's

Main Weapon : Spinning Bars at top of bot
Other Weapons : flippers at side of bot

Strengths : Can self right
Strong Bars

Weaknesses : Exsposed Wheels

dont use the stock extenders, they are unbalanced
dont use the stock axle mount. it dosnt even spin and its stock.
oh and just use the ant batts, they are the best. make sure u have about 1/3 - 1/2 total amps of all the motor amp inputs combined.

use the blue cb when possible, it weighs less.

The axle mount he's using could possibly be the 360 degree axle mount in DSL. I'm not too sure though, since I haven't played DSL in a while.

well it really wouldnt be very combat effective. it anything it would make it worse cuz it just bumps away from the other robot and dosnt impact the full force.

im suprised no one has told him that Battle axes suck and he should use 30kg sledgehammers.

and it is the 360 degree axel mount

i would have used the sledgehammers but they dont really work very well on this bot

i tried it before and every time it hit some 1 or thing it would take longer to load up and i find the battle axes dont because they are lighter

Weapon spin up time doesn't matter, it's mainly all about how strong and effiecient it is.

then use the 20kg meat tenderizer hammers. they work well on spinners.

i know but i find the battleaxes very effective so far although i havent really been against that many bots

Battle axes aren't really effective but do NOT suck.

That's pretty decent for a newbie. Simply, use only DSL parts.

What armor is that?

If it's default armor by any chance, change it. Even 1mm plastic give more health than default armor on DSL.
