Nothing annoys me more, than when im trying to use something like the firestorm flipper or the vlad flippper/spikes/thingy and the AP is off center! So if I want to put one on either side I have to change my extender work screw up the symmetrical aspects of my bot, just to make it work! I understand that these pars are like that so they are effective on the replicas, but would it be possible to fix their AP for the botlab?

QFT!
That and the asymmetrical attachment point on Multi-extenders. That really aggravates me.
-
Yes, it is possible.
I might even try it in NAR AI v2.3 if i am not lazy :P
EDIT: About the multi-extender other AP, it is doable but might slightly change a number of bots (not mine though).
-
What about keeping the old version as hidden parts as not to affect old bots?
-
Yes, i can do that as well.

Very good idea D-Lark.

AP moving is pretty straight forward.. actually very doable from one of my arena tutorials ;)
-
Yep, this is one of the things I'm working on. The Firestorm flipper is already fixed, in fact.

Good point, Nar. But if you leave the current APs and their numbers in the gmf, and make the number of the additional AP higher (consecutively), then it will not affect any older/pre-built bots that use the flipper (geomobject). So if it has 2 APs ('1', '2'), then make the new AP '3'. Then when the comp reads an 'already built' bot file, it will assemble the bot as before, with no change. But 'new bots' will have the extra AP option.

^ In english, what mad means is that you would just keep the old AP there and add a new one where you wanted it.
