It's been so many years and I'm starting to lose my faith that we will ever see the tournament happen again. Please share your thoughts here and hopefully we could get Click's statement too. I honestly miss the golden era of GTM (2009-2013) and I wish there was a way to bring it back.

Yugi's been planning to bring back a "Main" tournament for the forum which would be a BBEANS replacement. But yeah, a new BBEANS would be sick. Maybe if click doesn't have the time he can give the name to another reputable tournament host?
(And I'm currently running a Stock HW tournament in the BBEANS v2 arena, it's basically a BBEANS tournament Kappa. Signups are open)

I was wondering about that as well, while I haven't had time to read the wiki articles about it, I guess it was the biggest yearly tournament hosted by Clickbeetle?

I really don't see any tournament having the hype or prestige that BBEANS did.
Click did say he was planning on having the next BBEANS tournament be DSL 2.2. This was right when 2.2 released, so things might have changed since then.

Yeah it's a bit sad that tournaments started to die down, would sure love if there are more around, then again I'm already working 4-5 days on a bot for one tournament just because of how unstable it is.

We may not see BBEANS but, hopefully, we may see something on an equally grand scale that GTMers deem important enough to join. Progress is slow because Trov has died but I have been on the case for a while, so a tournament the size of BBEANS may not be far away and may or may not be in the works.

BBEANS7 depends if Click is around for that, and judging by how active he is now, that might take a while. It's been ten years since BBEANS has been introduced to the public, so he'll most likely comment about that if he ever comes back.
It also depends on how many people as GTM is not what it was compared to five or six years ago.

I can't believe I signed up in the golden era and quietly left a month or so later.
Now that I'm really into this thing it feels like not many others are!
Another bbeans would be great! Or if yugi is planning something special to fill the void I'm all for getting behind that!

I saw your old stock thread now, not bad, also don't worry there are still people around(but I wonder what happened, did people get tired of the game after 6-8 years?) not as many but I can still see some great ones.

Calling it now, BBEANS 7 will be in RA3.
if another bbeans does happen hopefully it gets a decent amount of entries. No way were getting close to 64 again, but we might be able to pull 32 and a few byes if we're lucky.

It feels like only yesterday I saw Flaming Whizzer annihilate everybody. Tfw.
RA3 BBEANS could be cool, but that's assuming they get the game on its feet and at this point I've lost all my trust in them.
