Robot Arena 2 & USB Flash Drive
« on: January 03, 2011, 03:32:07 PM »
Hi,

I like to play this game in school and I installed it to my USB Memory Stick but when I play it, all the bot graphics like decals are gone. I can only paint color on robot.

So, any idea how to get graphics back ?

Well, I have a copy on my memory stick and it works fine as I copied the entire folder over onto it. Do that again and it should work. Don't miss anything though.

I take it that it has the 1.3 patch?

I installed it straight to MemoStick, maybe I should install it to my computer and copy the graphic files to my stick. I patched it already.

I did this last year, shared it with most people in our school and every lunch we had a competition, two rounds of Battle Royal and a final Match.

I lost because it was stock and I built realistically and told everyone how to effe stuff!
I do those awful YouTube videos.

When I installed it to Memory Stick there seems to be bad error.

Inside texture library folder, there were folders and files named with Symbols. and I can't remove them.
Anyways, I renamed the old texture folder to something else, and then copied the right texture folder to memory stick. Now it works just fine.

So if you are going to install to memory stick, FIRST instal it to computer and then COPY/PASTE to memory stick, and it'll work like a dream ;)

Just if someone is going to have same problem in future :rage

Just download a fresh copy to it from Sages sig. It will solve all your bad install problems.
