Whats more efficient?

Npcs with minis I think, but I'm not expert on LW drive train.

All depends what you are trying to do with the popup. A slower popup needs to be built very differently from a fast one to be effective.

NPC > All, that is, if you can afford it.

I don't record ever putting astros with a hypno, Astros with wide ant, sure.  Astro with vlad, maybe.  The only time I ever use astros is cuz I can't afford NPC.

Astro + Hypno: 35kg, 16*1.5 = 24 Speed, 2500HP.

NPC + Mini: 45 kg, 32*1 = 32 Speed, 1000HP.

NPC + Mini gives you more speed for the weight, but if you're mounting them inside the chassis, a little over a third of the HP. Popups require speed to be effective, so I'd personally go for the NPC option.

NPC + minis of course. Astro drive on a popup is doing it wrong.
