Is there any way to decrease the amount of points you get for winning a match in tournament mode? The coveted Golden Sawblade ain't that coveted when you can win one match and still win the whole season.
I suppose increasing the points for the AI would work too.
-
Yeah, that was one of the things which pissed me off about DSL. Too easy to win.
-
I agree.
-
Right there with you guys. I just do the robot wars arena tourney push everyone down the pit and win that saw thing.
-
It would require getting into the .exe as far as I know. And while we're at it, might as well increase the amount of time you have for repairs too (or better yet, base component repair time on total HP rather than % HP remaining).
-
Yeah I kind of noticed this when I was using Realistic AI and the bot I was using was defeated in the first round of the first event and I led the league even when losing in the first round.
-
Oh yeah, when I played as Super Massive Black Hole, I lost every match in the first round and still won the league by about 20,000 points. :laughing
-
Just play with plain flippers and you wont have the problem :P
-
Wait, is the amount of points you get in the league based on the amount of points you score in your match?
If so, then scaling down all the damage and HP of all the weapons would remedy this issue.
-
LOL didnt anyone know that ?
I have known it for ages :P yeah.. if you have a flail SS you can win the whole season in the first event :P
its not directly 1 for 1.. Im not sure of the equation but its balanced for low or non scoring robots..
