Title: The RA2 Stock HW Uber-Tournament

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A TOURNAMENT, JUST SOMETHING I'M DOING WITH MY OWN BOTS.
This is like G.K.'s Uber-tournament in that it has 128 entries, but mine has byebots and a few new entrants:
-THE ENTRIES-

EMERGENCY and Thumperizer are the byebots, and the order I posted the bots is the order they will fight. I will not post vids (it will take too long) but I will tell the outcome of every fight. Fights are run BBEANS style, and there will be a loser's bracket. Arena is BBEANS Arena V2. If you want to see a robot's picture, ask me. I will post the first few fights later.

lol, but I think that a few bots miight just beat it. Not sure though, but that bot's definitely one of the picks to win. Just gotta AI JAWZ and the first fights will begin.

This tourney is like my unoffical Robot Smash... But it has 6 different weight classes... Next will be season 7, MW. There will be all BBEANS 4 bots. :mrgreen:

Sour only won cuz Thumperizer is a byebot and it sucks compared to most of the bots in the tourney. However, it did beat Heaven's Sawmill by KO last week...

But we can say that the BBEANS arena is more balanced, because it has hazards that do stuff and is good for flippers. And Seism can lose just like any other bot, but it keeps winning these things and we always pretty much had an overall thought of AC was the best. Seism kills AC, and pretty much everything else too...

I will only change my mind if someone finds a bot that can consistently beat it.

Huh, I just realized that Shadow Tyrant AND TyranT were in this  :gawe: . I remade TyranT into Shadow Tyrant so that it was better suited against crawlers (namely Bumble Bee) so its kinda coincidental that TyranT ended up losing to it. By replacing the castors with more ramplates, I lost some of TyranT's wedginess and made it more susceptible to HSers (which is one of the reasons why I'm really surprised ST won against AC).

Seism is the not the best but it has repeatedly proven itself as being a superior design. Obviously, there is a rock-paper-scissors effect which prevents it from winning against everything but it is one of the most effective bots around. It has also been the standard/inspiration for several of the bots that can beat it.

The BBEANS Arena may not be good for rammers but it is far more balanced (for other designs) than the Combat Arena. The benefit of having the center obstruction is that bots aren't getting thrown out of the arena within the first couple seconds by going too fast up their opponent's wedge.

I might also add on the arena discussion the BBEANS arena has the best floor of any arena (perfectly flat), that is why ItI works so well and why your wedges act differently compared to other arenas.

question ? did you do best out of 3 ?

1) Seism Learns off its opponents... that is what truly makes it deadly

2) Seism adjusts its wedges after a robot gets under it.. if you didnt do best of 3 It would have a different set up each time you start a match unless you exit the game between matches
