If you can find the first DSL eggbeater (I Doubt it was my 2009 one as there has to be one before that year) shouldn't that be on there?

This really needs some kind of structure to it. Throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks can work, if something actually sticks. All we have at the moment is an even increasing list with the only criteria for entry being "Not crap."

Seriously, don't nominate good bots just so the list fills up to 100. Even if it's less than 50, but RA2's "culture" would be different without them, I'd say that's already a great list.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Sage's trimmed down list is 46, adding VB's Dsl suggestions brings it up to 48. Which is a nice small-ish number. Plus it doesn't have robots added just to make up space! Everyone wins.

Every time I look at this thread, I laugh more...

You guys are never going to agree on what bots to add because there is no real criteria and really can't be... Plus, everyone is going to nominate their own bots, because they want to feel their e-penis grow a little if it makes the list.

You're all going to continue this circle jerk until it gets forgotten about and it will never happen. It was already forgotten about once... It's only a matter of time.

DP

We now have 85 bots named on the list that everyone is griping over, so 15 more can make it into the top 100. After this I will start a poll with 20 robots in it each week. This poll will have the option for you to vote up to all 20 each week to see who is worthy of making the top 100. At the end I will tally the votes. If  a robot recieves 2 or less votes it will be removed from the list. If it gets any more than 2 it will go into the top 100 which will be decided by the amount of votes the bot recieves.

I want to have 120 bots in the front list however, so we have a fail-safe in case one of the bots is actually voted out. So 35 more bots will make it into the poll.

I have been going my memorability and innovativity for my list. If a robot was memorable, or innovative I considered it. I dunno why you guys are all like "OMG let's constrict the list to the best of the freakin best".

Changing the topic name to something that fits more than "top 100 BEST RA2 robots".

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

I vote it gets renamed to just "Robots that shaped the history of RA2" and dont worry amount a number limit

New Designs, Trending Designs, Inovation, New Glitches, etc

"The Top 100 RA2 Bots of All Time" Means something completely different, that would be effective fighters, best built robots.. its like the Nominated Ranks for robots

And again.

Let's take EMERGENCY, for example. If it weren't in the game, people wouldn't have been so heck-bent at beating it and getting a huge ego boost after they did.
And then there's Lame HS and Symobiote (sorry guys). They're simply novelty bots and builders wouldn't have emulated their chassis structure or general setup on their following bots.

If anything, Second Sunrise should be on that list for popularizing the 'everything-on-a-halfsheet' VS trend.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
