show support for tourney hosts.
« on: April 10, 2009, 03:59:27 AM »
hey all, tournaments take a lot of effort to run and plenty of people enter and lots of people never comment or give feedback. we put on these tournaments to entertain everyone who wants to watch the vids not just the people who enter.

i realize there are a few people who thank the tourney hosts for their efforts in making the tourneys happen but honestly 1-3 people saying thanks isn't much seeing as most tournaments have 10+ people enter. all it takes is a show of enthusiasm so we know at least you enjoy watching the vids.

if you enjoy a tournament let us know.

more support = more, better, fast running tourneys.

It's True!

I don't see many people thanking me and Mad for taking over the GUMBA tourney...
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

BBEANS is the only tourney that gets support. I mean, what other tournaments bring all the veterans back?

I think RAW's brackets weren't as good as the could be.
(they were made of text! Ahh!)

WRL was confusing, bracket-wise.

Most other tournaments sucked (A.D.D.I.C.T. 1) or never got off the ground (MC BOTER).
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

the Tag Team challenge i hosted had lots of veterans..

any tournament i enter i comment after each round usually to show I'm "gettin' into" the tourney. as a tourney host all we want is people to get into the spirit of competing and talk about how their robot and others are going etc. a few thank you's help too

take the Tilt challenge from Robo Zone for example... Sadie's closet actually retreated from the house robot! i thought it was funny... and no one mentioned it at all! O.o

I think my tourneys have potential to keep going..

-Tag Team Challenge
-Tabletop Challenge
-Robo Zone

i need to re-think ARBBC to make it easier for me to complete.

I really do think that the tourneys have kept the community alive. Just because we don't post, doesn't mean we don't support it. We all know that if it wasn't for you guys, we wouldn't have these tournies.

I also formally thank all of those putting on currently going or completed tourneys.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time
