Title: Team Idea
Post by: JoeCB1991 on July 10, 2008, 10:51:15 AM: In the Tournaments, is there any way to have the other teams compete that are not the ones from the old game, and is there a way to get the Replicas in there with the Remakes. I would like it if this was done randomly so that it could make the game a little bit more challenging.

Post by: Clickbeetle on July 10, 2008, 09:37:29 PM: It's possible to make a .bat file that will rearrange the teams so different ones will show up in tournaments. But I don't know how to do it. Also some of the teams (Arthrobotics and Robot Arena Reincarnated, for example) don't follow the LW-MW-HW pattern, so you might end up fighting Gammaraze 3 with a LW, or AW-Terminus with a HW.

Post by: Madiaba on July 11, 2008, 08:50:11 AM: Joe, the weight classes are dictated by the exe, and thus are set (look here (https://gametechmods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=491)), but we can still do a some modding of things. I assume you want to switch 'sets' of teams while keeping the weight classes in situ.... And/Or the first set of 3 bots with the second set of 3 in a single Team. PM me and I'll show you how it works, and you can set it up as you please. DOS Batch files are very simple,.. allot like Basic, so anyone can script them. (And there are some other neat things you can do for RA2 with them too.)
