Title: stupid useless exhibition glitch.
Post by: 027 LB on August 23, 2011, 10:19:19 AM
I found this while screwing around in RA2 today.

Go to Exhibition and start a 4-player match.

Put a bot in the one player slot and one in the 4 player slot.

Then change the fight type to deathmatch.

Change the arena to the Battlebox. DO NOT GO BACK TO THE BOT SELECT OR ELSE IT SCREWS UP.

Then start the match. the player 4 bot will be floating in space somewhere, and eliminate itself soon.

Because the BattleBox doesn't have starting points for players 3 and 4.

yes, but the fact that the bot doesn't delete when it swaps to the 2-player fight's the glitch.

I was explaining why Flip Test Dummy went OOTA in the BattleBox.

It should be noted that this works in stock also.

To prevent this glitch, all Deathmatch arenas should have Player 3 and 4 slots, but not use them.

I just love the fact AS is both right and wrong every time he posts.

I mean I guess you could call it a glitch if you wanted too.. but really all thats happening is the game doesnt unload selected settings until the tab is revisited..

Handy feature for those prone to accidentally clicking the wrong button after setting up a match..
