It is, sadly, just a case of trial and error. What I find, for some reason, is that if you take a top-down view of your robot, place one Supervolt in there, and then rotate the camera 90 degrees to the right, it makes it a bit easier to stack the second one in there. I don't know why this is, but it helped a great deal when I was in the process of making Halestorm 5.

Watch my tutorial, it helps. It explains everything you need to do.

In the tutorials section under "RA2: Tips and Tricks."
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

No, he's suggesting that we put a can of worms on our bots. :P

Anyway, I find that stacking just comes from practice. At the beginning, I couldn't even stack a black but now I can stack 3.

I don't think for a second JoeBlo would be advising BFE at all.

He's talking about AAM. ;)

Are you suggesting BFE ?

maybe...

AAM is what all the hip kids do  :gawe:

or maybe a game that has a whole pile of components with modified collision meshes to allow overlapping... but who has something like that

*looks away*

Only cheaters and mods use BFE.
As for me:.......................................................Truth-Meter
None of ___ bots have BFE!................................(ok)
Not one of my bots has BFE!.... (more like 50)........(better).
One of my bots does not have BFE!......................(reality)

Actually you can do a lot with patient perseverance stacking.....

(Should make a smiley-icon out of this.... and AAM.)
Input is appreciated. :)

JoeBlo! How could you?! (Could you send it to me please?) :P Joking, joking....

I agree with Mad here. BFE and AAM is acceptable on non-serious bots but it is not acceptable on any other bots. That includes for stacking.

If BFE and AAM was allowed, we'd have a flood of newbies coming through going, "OH LOOK MY NEW BOTS I HAVE 5 CROSS STACKED BLACKS AND 8 HP Z-TEK DRIVE IN A 2 X 2 CHASSIS WHOOPS I HAVE CAPS LOCK ON LOLOLOLOL!!!!11!"

Would you want that?

no that would never happen.. because you would still have to learn how to do it legal or not :P

JoeBlo! How could you?! (Could you send it to me please?)

no chance high pants :P I will never hand it out for obvious reasons.. I dont even touch it for any public shown robots..
