I tried looking for it in the Atari bot exchange, but I haven't had any luck.

But I'm pretty sure you'll find cooler bots in these showcases. :P

Anyway, why was this posted in Forum Feedback? XD

It was a very Flat bot, could almost ride under everyone.

If i loaded it. it took 3 minutes to load a map.

But the bot itself was soooow cool.

Well, Forum Feedback is actyally for those posts that give Feedback to the forums, not the other way around.

I agree with Pwn and Craaig, go to Robot Showcase section and look at the showcases there to see if you find anything you like, but you may not be allowed a download for the bot if the builder disagrees to that.

I'll laugh if this bot uses the realistic rule...

So far, Click has entered realistic bots for all BBEANS. :P

Yep and the discs are inside eachother and im not sure if Event Horizon is realistic, the razortips might be going trough the batteries.

Sweet Poppin' Corns was what it was called I think. I remember seeing it in either Clickbeetle's or Firebeetle's showcase on the old forums. Mabye post a request in Click's showcase for it. It was an epic flipper, was it not?

It's called Sweet Poppin' Corns (a spoof on Sweet Cuppin' Cakes; R0B0 was right on) and it's a SHW AAM popup.  Kind of copying that one popup ACAMS made a long time ago.

And that, children, is why we don't teach you how to do AAM :P

I remembered something about this bot being "not quite right" when I first saw it. About 89475 DDT's stacked together would do that.

It still dosen't 1-hit KO the stock AI with their thick armour though. Time for an update :D

Honestly 1 hit KOing the stock armoured bots is a pretty good achievement when it happens.

Now that you've said it, I haven't tried 1HKO-ing EMERGENCY yet (it uses DSS, right?).

Emergency makes that strong hollow bang noise of stock Steel, so yeah, it's DSS.
Titanium sounds a bit wimpy and like pieces are coming off. Don't you remember S32?

How DO you do AAM anyway?

There are 2 ways to it.
1. Botfile editing (I use this, its better since you can chage an extender into a HPZ in an instant and that sorta stuff)
2. Change an already attached components gmf to another one in components folder so it doesnt take as much space anymore(just dont forget to backup the origional one, you will later need to change it back to origional when you are done attaching things like motors inside your batteries)

Post by: Somebody on August 06, 2009, 07:44:42 AM
That thing is insanely hard to wire only the motors that you want.
