Title: Screen recorder pain
Post by: Condor33 on March 11, 2009, 06:23:15 PM: I REALLY have troubles with screen recorders. I've downloaded three, and the one that works the best is Hypercam 2, but it still isn't that good. Could you help me by explaining, if you can,
A: what recorder you use for tourneys,
B: why it works fine with sprite-based games (Battleships Forever) but with 3d games all I see are artifacts
C: on some full screen games it doesn't record at all, it just shows the desktop or first frame of that game and then freezes.

I know this is an odd request, but if I ever wanted to run a tourney I'd need to know what the problem is.

FRAPS is what I use for BBEANS and all my other video stuff.
