If you want to run a tournament where you request entries to be sent, you must do it through the official system in the Tournament section of the forum or risk this thread being closed. It's the new rules.

To continue doing an unofficial tournament here, you can only use bots available for download in AI packs or from other tournaments.

If you continue to ask for and receive bots, then it will be locked.

Basically you have to nab bots without the builders necessarily knowing you are doing it.

There's so little difference there, they may as well be the same thing.

Now I'm pretty sure you can grab bots off the exchange and use those with no problem... so anyone who wants bots in this can upload some bots and hope you pick them. Just no formal entries.

Did he? I thought picking bots off the exchange was allowed. Like Hot Wheels, Nuclear Fallout, and other bots like that. You just have no guarantee that if your bot is on the exchange, it will get picked.

However, if people start using the exchange simply as a file host for making direct entries, then this WILL be locked.
