Yet we can't get every member to rate so as to not get down/upvote squads, and opinions biased by stupid crap like flamewars (vide the S32<->Reier drama). Ergo, some people HAVE to be left out of the equation.

I also suggest that with every vote, one must also write an argument telling why did he/she vote this way. Also, when calculating the average, delete 10% of the highest and 10% of the lowest scores (eg: votes 45, 29, 10, 89, 13, 23, 45, 84, 20, 39, that is 10 votes, so we remove the highest score and the lowest score, which are 89 and 10. This gives us 37 instead of 40, which looks much realistic when looking at the votes, and is much closer to the median). This makes for a much more fair score, and also helps fight fanboyism.

the only trouble is time.. or rather the lack of it

I image it would be such a time consuming thing it would hardly be worth the trouble

I still prefer the only one vote for each user method.

I thought, that me and GK could become too Advanced users because we are one of the most active members in GTM...

Activity doesn't make us advanced Jonzu. We have to achieve things. Sure, we've each hosted tournaments, but so have other guys, like Stag and SM, and I don't see them on the AU list.
My above post explains everything about everything.

BTW, I have successfully finished a tourney without more than 5 people commenting on the outcome.
Do I win a prize?
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

If we do the average of a panel vote, the highest and lowest score should be dropped before averaging. This helps to remove inconsistencies.

I agree with the panel vote, but what if the highest and lowest scores are really consistent with the others?
