Custom Match Idea's Thread.

Had a quick look around and searched couldn't find any thread for custom match idea's so I though I'd start one :)

Here you can post all your idea's for custom matches in RA2, these matches are different to your normal death matches, king of the hills etc. I'll throw one out there to get the ball rolling.

One Fall Boxing - A Boxing ring arena would be used, the canvas instantly destroys a bot when the chassis hits the floor so players build boxing robots that "stand up" on wheeled legs and feet. Objective is simple knock down the other robot, think about robots jabbing each other and throwing hooks while the other moves around and dodges the puches of the other bot with head movements.

It would be fun to have more custom matches to play around with, open up some more gameplay options for different/more unique robots.

that would be cool and i don't think it would be to hard either i think you could just make a arena where whole floor is like whats below the flex top where when the robot touches the ground it gets elimented but they wouldent cus there chassis is not touching the ground.

though i'm not sure if it would work are not.

I tried to start a tourney like this but it never got off the ground due to lack of time on my part.

Problem would be that you could put a cage around your robot. Good idea for a thread though.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Did you know I have made a boxing ring/ wrestling ring arena?

Did you know it contains the coding to eliminate boxing robots that are knocked over? (Eliminates a Chassis that falls below a particular height at this point in time only those that go outside the ring) 

 ;)

Yes that would be a big problem for a game mode... not for a tournament though..

well i guess the canvas of the wrestling ring arena could just get a reskin and be made into boxing ring :P

A tables match. Where if you throw the opponent bot through a table they get instantly KO'd.
