Downloaded Components: Which coincide with DSLv2.0?

I have downloaded all of the extra components that I want to try out for some of my bots, but I read in one of ACAMS readme.txt files that his bundle doesn't work with DSLv2.0. So I've looked around the forums but I can't seem to find any information on which components will work with it. Any tips?

If the possibility of none working with DSL2.0 is true, than if I were to install them to another version (Or the clean folder, not sure which one to even put them in) could I import those bots into my DSL2.0 Team HQ?

If there is a FAQ somewhere that answers this, feel free to point me in that direction. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Edit: I do have 2.1, my memory or therefor lack of, gets the best of me sometimes.

First of all get DSL 2.1 (in my signature).

Second, new components will work in any game if you add them right. If I remember, ACAMS component pack is not ready for distribution (could be wrong). If you have a bundle of components, then add them as individual folders to the game's components folder, add the .txt files, and put the styles into the styles folder. Should work.

Third, no, you can't import a bot into a game if the two game do not have the same components.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

there is some component packs that may not work 100% with DSL 2.1

this isnt the components as a whole.. just a few that may conflict but its worth the try on a second copy (so you dont mess up the first)

I know the FBComponant Pack will work..

to put it simply, no, the game will crash

Botfiles in RA2 (.bot) as just unicode text files that basically (and putting it simply) list off the location of the component text files and were they are on the robot. so if the bot file tells the game a componant on the robot and its not in the folder then the game will crash.

Okay well if I stumble on to any that crash the game after installing them correctly, I'll post them here.

crashing I dont think it will do.. just some may mess about with the DSL components.. since some parts in those packs were later used in DSL
