RA2 Overhead Thwackbots?

I have been playing RA2 for a while and it kinda stinks that we can't make overhead thwackbots (I tried but maybe it's possible)

But if it's official that we cant, someone needs to make a mod for it. (I suck at modding)

Don't use wheels. Use the discs or saws or something.
Also they suck in combat so it's not really worth making them, but if you want to then I won't stop you.

They are definitely possible. Like Kurt said, don't use wheels, or use a short extender then put a wheel at the end of the extender or something. I've made some. A most recent one that has been put into competitive competition is Tommy's bot that he entered Beetle Bashers 2 with.

A man named TommyProductionsInc has actually made a thwack bot with wheels named Smite Jr. It has an DSL Disc connecting to the wheels and RA2 physics says it works. Don't believe me? He entered it in my tournament Beetle Bashers and you can find a download link in the Signups thread.

i could swear i saw one the other day that used wheels. they were the orange bmx bike looking wheels and it the weapon was a vlad spike. looked like it worked pretty damned well too
