Which download of robot arena 2 had battlebots and robot wars bots like toro and diesector?

DSL2.1 has a few classic battlebots and RW replicas, RWRA2 has a more updated list of mostly UK bots that competed in the Roaming Robots live shows (if I'm not mistaken).

If you're looking for the bots you saw on TV as a kid, DSL2.1 is probably your best bet.

DSL 2.2 has improved replicas, for examples BioHazard and MechaVore. Even better, they're already in your Robot Designs folder.

It has the replicas, Most of em, from DSl, also has components from BB mods and RW mod so you have tons of options.

So I downloaded a lot of different versions. One has some robots like techno desctructo, diesector, and minion from battlebots. Another one has nearly twice as many robots and the teams in the exhibition section have six robots each instead of three. It has bots like biohazard and sir kilalot. Is it possible to combine the two?

Well, depends on what you mean, you can combine the Ai kind of, but it takes work, if you just want to be able to own lots of the bots and modify them, just combine the components, and import em.
What do you mean by combiene?
If you want do do either, you must have the compnents from all the mods, DSL/IF/AEUM have all the stock components , in Asbestosstar evento uno mod, it has all the components, and some replicas built in!

for the components you should be able to, but i'm going to assume there is going to be somehow like 5 parts that share the same file name. as for AI you'll have to rename all the team folders, add all the teams into one team.txt, and combine all the ai bindings together.

also it is going to be super unbalanced if you mash a bunch of mods together since they aren't designed to work concurrently. some bots will be super weak compared to others

Another point to add, sometimes having a big cluster **** of ra2 mods into one version can causes some unintentional glitches. One of these I had was that if you were to transfer bots that have side skirts from pure DSL into the cluster version of DSL like the Asbesto evento uno mod. Sometimes, the skirt hinges will shift out of their normal places, causing a heap load of problems such as you bot being unable to move. This isn't a problem if you build inside the mod, but the glitch can cause problems when transferring bots between pure and combined mods.

How does one add bots to teams to make it 6 instead of 3? I have looked at the readmes and see

In the "robots" section for some other dsl mods there is 0 1 2 3 4 5 and they have 6. But when I try to add the 3 4 5 nothing is any different in the game. The folder labeled as team0 has bots numbered from 0 - 5 but i still can't see the other three. What do I do?

I am reading several of these bindings.py files. Some have them sorted by teams and the six robots like this.

I believe you need to make some changes to the UI so you can see the other 3 bots.
Bindings just add the AI lines to a list. The organisation is just to make reading easier but as long as the line is somewhere in the file it will work.

Yeah, it's a common change that's been about since like 2007. I believe it is included in most modern downloads of the game.
I think the Starcore V2 pack has the specific change required to the selectbot files.

But my question is, what is reading or telling the game which team each robot belongs on? I have two teams with a minion and vladiator with the lifter. I was going to replace one of them and add vlad the impaler because he isn't in any of the teams. How do I do this? Write in his info in the bindings.py? Oddly, when i added the numbers, I never added robots to the bindings.py file. I have no idea what is being read by what. Its confusing.

You have to name the bot file Bot3.bot or whatever and put it in the team folder. Then teams.txt indicates how many of those to look at. The game reads the name of the bot and looks up how to AI it in bindings.py

I didn't mean for the picture to be so blurry. How do I get these formiadable bots into another team? I began doing what you told me and naming the new bots as bot 0-5 and its working. I tried to put these six into it as well because they aren't in it but they crash the game.

How many teams you got? I believe there's a limit and a workaround which I can't remember.

I'm going to need more information really. Do they show up in the correct teams? Can you show me where the files are located and your bindings?
