Other game maps as arenas?

As the title implies, I wondered if it was possible to import the maps (and maybe items) from other games into RA2? Like parts of black mesa, etc.

Technically it may be possible to some extent.  It depends on what kind of exporters exist for the game and wether 3ds max 5 will support any of them.
