Well, I was trying to stack a control board onto a 12 V Battery, and I used CTRL to move it higher. It finally became place-able and I attached it. When I looked at it from the side, it was literally floating in mid air. I wanted to see if I could do it again, so I used a CO2 tank with nothing under it, and I raised it. Once again, it was in mid air.
I'm not sure if you guys knew about this already or if is even a glitch.

Whilst still in the chassis?
-
Yes, I haven't tried outside of the chassis.
-
Yeah, that's just how RA2 works. Components can be raised up to "float" inside the chassis.
-
i think that's just attaching normally :P
ra2 physics make no sense as you'll find.
-
It does shed some light on the meaning of IRL building...stuff like baseplate anchors can't be raised IRL like in RA2 unless they're on top of something else.
-
That's not a glitch, that's just a part of the game mechanics. You can raise components to mount them higher in the chassis, if needs be, such as with Baseplate Anchors to attach motors on top of the chassis.
-
lol newbies confused as to how RA2 works
nah, I kid.

If you think this is a glitch, go check out the stock showcases.
