Need a new screen recorder

I went to download the fraps on Pirate Bay but I can't use torrents because they wreck my computer and I cannot use We Game because it ruins my documents

Can someone suggest a screen recorder that allows unlimited recording, does not wreck my documents and is not a torrent.

Fraps is only like 40 something dollars.. cheaper then most computer games or software

No recording soft ware works on my computer. They all seem to crash what ever game I'm trying to record :P

ZD Soft is decent, there's also an account for it going around you can use to record for unlimited minutes.

Well im trying a new one now called playclaw. Its quite good, and seeming that in 3 min fraps makes a 3 gb file, for 15 min playclaw makes a file only 5 gb so its quite good soo far...

you know the file size isnt the program doing whatever it feels like right ? you can lower the output size by change the quality

last I heard you were using an unnecessarily large FPS rate on fraps

fraps is at 30 fps....

Playclaw does seem to run better with higher end games without lagging it like fraps does though

I have the free version of fraps, and for a strange reason anything I download that lasts only for a certain amount of days doesnt run out, I've had the free version of fraps for months eve though its a 30 day trial.
