Is there anyway to have multiple RA2's set up without having to change them everytime.
Example : I have 3 copies of RA2. Starcore/DSL/Stock and i would like to be able to play each one separately without having to change the folders around.
Is this possible?

Just copy the entire folder, and replace the relevant ones in the copies.

I wrote this a LONG time ago......(probably intoxicated) ...... If
somebody someone would rewrite it that would be nice!

yep, or just extract files into a sub folder inside the Infogames one (extact to Infogames/DSL, Infogames/Stock, etc)
I currently have 29 different RA2 installs :gawe:

@G.K
I dont think you understand.
What i mean is i have 3 icons for RA2 on my desktop one named Starcore, one named DSL and one named Stock.
I want to be able to click the icon to load up DSL and after closing DSL, click the icon to load up Stock and it loads up stock without having to swap the RA2 folders.
@Joe do you mean i have the infogames folder and i have the 3 RA2 copies in there.
Cheers for the help everyone.
-
right click > create shortcut > name whatever you want > cut & paste to desktop
or as I do one shortcut to the infogames folder
-
STEP BY STEP.
Easy way = Download both stock and DSL from my signature. They are standalone games. Just create a shortcut by right-clicking the Robot Arena 2.exe and selecting "Create Shortcut." Rename the shortcut to whatever you want and then put it on the desktop.
Another easy way = Copy the folder you have twice, rename the folder to three different things, and create the shortcuts like I told you how in the first way.

Cheers Joe
ill try it out when i get on my PC next (Im currently on my Grandad's)
@Sage i know that the games from your sig are standalone. Im not new lol
-
I understood exactly what you said, perhaps just explained it wrong.
-
yea its because the way you explained it was ust to swap the RA2 folders around everytime.
-
It actually wasn't, but never mind.
-
That's what i thought you had said though.
i Know you never now.

@ACAMS: I kinda wish I could make a change as well. Been here too long though, and done too much to change.
