Metropolitan UI idea
« on: February 13, 2011, 09:36:46 AM »
This UI is just an idea that is just on the table for now, but the UI is focused around more of a futuristic/up to date look with FINALLY new music and something that is aesthetically pleasing and won't bother you during building. This may evolve into an AI pack with robots that look good and don't have much efficiency (like walkers, shufflers, clamps, drills, and more statue like bots I.E. Trimangle)
Any other Ideas?

I'm not sure I understand the problem being addressed here.  What's  wrong with the music, and what exactly is aesthetically unpleasing about the UI?

It is just something that would take your eyes of the "heavy" graphics and substitute in something light but still looking cool. Also IDK about you but I find the music for Stock and DSL outdated and annoying IMO. And if this turns to an AI pack it is for more of those robots that really don't get showcased anymore.

it's an idea that makes no sense until we see what you are talking about, so you should get on those sketches asap

Lol maybe you can do this for Space Arena.  It is intended to be futuristic after all.

It isn't supposed to be futuristic but more "urban"

Well it isn't just UI... It is also music and making everything non-intrusive
