Search "Anti Ballasts". You'll find what you're looking for.
Put this onto your signature if you were part of this crappy fad in '03.

Look in the download database under Components for Anti Ballast and once installed you put them on your bot to remove weight, but be sure to remove them before using your bot.

Oh, I got anohter question, maybe u can help me in same thread... if a friend and me go for multiplayer, there is always written:
only standart equipment can be used for Multiplayer.

Is there a way to evade this?

EDIT:

Well I found the Anti Star Item, but if install it in my robo and start a game, he is always eliminated in the very first second... and it appears a blackscreen. Does someone know something about this issue?

You must delete the anti-ballast before you start to fight.

Also, which anti-ballast is best if I just want the anti-ballast, and not other parts.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Thx, I see... BUT thats no anymore my problem!

My Problem is, that atm I can use only standart items for Multiplayer gaming! And my question is, how to evade it.

"Only robots with fully standart items can be used for compition." Something like that is written...

the reason cause not eveyone has all custom parts. if one person uses them and the rest dont then it crashes everyones game.

mhm sounds good, but the problem is, I cant even open my own bot, not even if my friend isnt yet inside.... I attached a screenshot of my issue. Maybe someone knows it.

Well, im using ver. 1.2, I dont know if this could be the problem?

greetings

EDIT: Well I see the Errorlog doesnt appear. But you could imagine a litle errorbox in the mittle of the screen. In this box is written:

"Only standart equip for multiplayer competition."

Go to C:\Program Files\Infogrames\Robot Arena 2 and open ra2.cfg with notepad and change

AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=0
to
AllowNonStandardMultiplayer=1

THEN make sure EVERYBODY in the game has the same components as you, and they also have to edit the ra2.cfg

There is a way to evade it.

BUT, you have to be careful, because if you try to use non-standard parts in multiplayer and any of your opponents don't have them installed, then the game will crash.  Make sure your friends have all the same parts you do before doing this:

Open ra2.cfg in the Robot Arena 2 folder.  Add a new line saying "AllowNonStandardMultiplayer = 1" anywhere in the file.

Edit: Aw, ACAMS beat me to it!  Well, redundancy never hurt anybody.
