Seeing as Hero Of War's showcase was headed towards derailing, I decided to make a discussion thread. The logical conclusion for Ironforge UHW is 2500kg, but could it be 800KG? Much easier to make. However, seeing as SHW is 600kg, why not have a new weightclass for 800kg instead of UHW? While this would mean you would need a antiballast if you wanted to attach ballasts to one, you could just make one. Hell, I will get on with one once we pick a name for this.
-
new weight class at 800kg actually sounds kinda fun
-
isnt shw already 600-800kg and uhw 800-2500

No, Superheavyweight is 400 Kg - 600 Kg.
-
We should have a new weightclass at 800 kg, yes. As for the name, I have no idea.
And maybe UHW at 1200 ?
-
the name should be ogreweight
-
For once Avalanche had a good idea.
-
Mega heavyweight sounds dumb but I'm all for the inclusion of an 800kg weight class.
-
Maybe Megabots as the weightclass name ?
-
Or you could move the existing weight classes up and add like a Bantamweight of something further down the line?
Or Extraheavyweight/Overheavyweight.
-
gigaheavyweight
-
I would think it makes sense for 800kg to be UHW and 2500 to be GHW. My two cents.
-
I like Mega Heavyweight. It's like in pokemon.

LW:125
MW:200
HW:400
SHW:600
UHW:800
GHW:1200
it breaks the "stock = ironforge x2" weight limit rule at higher classes, but anyways the 5000/10000 weight classes are a bit dumb in stock. there should be a 2500 kg weight class because everytime I build a DSL UHW I stop at 2500 and then you only try to add random components to go up to 5000. Ever wonder why half of the Clash of the Titans entries were multibots ?

Fully agree with this. Will re make the poll putting this in.
Also, Should we bother with cruiserweight or should we permenantly kill it? It might actually fit in now, seeing as i sometimes hit over MW. Might be good.
So the list now would be:
AW - 70kg
BW - 90kg
LW - 125kg
MW - 200kg
HW - 400kg
SHW - 600kg
UHW - 800kg
GHW - 1200kg
And possibly
CW - 300kg
TW (Titanweight) - 2500kg
UOW (Über Öber Weight) Limitless.
Removing poll, replacing with new. This is so you can actually change your vote.
Should UOW just be Uberweight?
-
CW isn't really necessary in ironforge seeing that the weights have been divided by two. But we can keep it.
-
Poll is up. I do think that UOW could use a better name. Maybe just Überweight, seeing as Over can be translated to Über? (Google Translate has 15 different translations, so if Thyrus can confirm, that would be great.)
-
the name should be ogreweight

No.
All your hopes are destroyed and its all ogre now.
But yeah, no. Unless you want UOW to be Overweight, and you can call it Ogreweight.
-
TW and UOW or whatever just seem dumb. We have enough classes without them, and frankly I don't reckon even GHW will get built much, let alone anything higher.
-
guys guys we need a different weight class every 5kg
-
why are we now changing existing weight class names around instead of just making the one new one at 800 kg?

agreed. also uhw at 800 kg sounds lame af
-
Ogreweight at 800 UHW is anything over. Cruiser weight has always been unnecessary.
-
UHW at 800 kg may be lame but it suits the name progression, if not the weight progression.
i'm just saying if ironforge is half stock (which is the word of 123) then
AW = 72,5 so 75 for simplicity
BW = 87,5 so 90 for simplicity <= we can get rid of this one or say AW is 50 and BW is 80 or something...
LW = 125
MW = 200
CW = 300 <= we can get rid of this one cuz it's not as necessary with weights being divided by two
HW = 400
SHW = 600
??? = 800
??? = 1200
UHW = 2500
GHW = 5000
But I believe 2500 and 5000 kg are a bit useless in ironforge, so I moved UHW at 800 and GHW at 1200, even if it doesn't keep the proportions.
UOW is a retard tier name. Ogreweight is a Playzooki tier name. Titanweight isn't bad, but it should really be higher than UHW.
what ideas I have for the new names :
Ironforge Heavyweight (IHW)
Ironforge Superheavyweight (ISHW)
or
Megaheavyweight (MHW)
Kiloheavyweight... no that's a silly one.
Overheavyweight (OHW) for 800 kg ?
Or simply call it 800 kg Ironforge and 1200 kg Ironforge. (800 IF or 1200 IF).

These have already been defined by 123 as 70kg and 90kg in the opening screen/credits so I'd say they stay where they are to avoid confusion.
In my opinion we don't need the extra 2 weightclasses, we have enough as it is that will hardly ever get built (as I said last time).
AW 70, BW 90, LW 125, MW 200, HW 400, SHW 600, UHW 800, GHW 1200. Or that's what I think. I don't think we should add more, just change definitions if needed.

yeah I think this is the most satisfactory resolution
-
Honestly I doubt anything over 800 would be competitive in Ironforge because of Havok. It's bad enough at HW tier. And UHW battle would probably crash quite often.
-
GUYS I JUST THOUGHT OF SOME NEW WEIGHT CLASSES WE SHOULD HAVE
Memeweight :69kg
Devilweight:666kg
1337w319ht:1337kgs
UBERMEMEWEIGHT:>9000kgs

You forgot dankweight: 420kg
