After viewing posts from Starcore and Clickbeetle on the matter (admittedly from many years ago) it may be impossible. Just go to search, then input "repair time" to see the posts I was on about.

In an 'Ideas' thread
Actually most of the stuff you suggested is possible (only split screens and no/extended repair time limit aren't); the main limiting factor is time.  DSL 2.0 has been in development long enough and we want to get it out ASAP.  It's not likely we'll be starting anything new now, but I can tell you some of the things on that list have already been made

In a thread 'What do you like/dislike about DSL?'
And on that note, the in-game tourneys should be difficult but not undoable with a good bot using the DSL parts and driven well. Since we can't change (that I know of) the between round repair times our other choices are to:
*blahblah*

have you tried cheat engine? just remember that it has the word CHEAT in there for a reason. not like anyone plays event mode seriously anymore anyway, so whatever.

With all the hax and cheats he is asking for I hope he isn't taking it seriously.

Hax cheats. Sure i could use cheat engine. Dont know how reliable it is though. But wouldnt that make me have to first: Reset the value after each match or redo stuffs in general. Secondary: i had to switch windows. Doing so and then returning to RA2 usually causes it to crash. and i cant use task manager. i have to logout and back in. It doesnt always occur, but enough times to make me unsecure about switching back to RA2. If i play without fullscreen i can usually switch, as long as i use the right resolution and not 800x600 for example, because then RA2 stops responding. Otherwise if i had the patient needed. i could try that.

Yeah that's because ra2 is a 10 year old game that wasn't fully stable even when it was released.

By stable he means wasn't even fully completed.  :dumb)

You can add more time to the repair window by modifying the value that represents time left in Teams/Teams.txt. You could even make a program that resets it for you.

Otherwise, another option is to use the sergepatcher to change the initial repair time to something higher.

It is rare to see a game that has been fully completed. There are always going to be sacrifices and deadlines to meet.

So. Where in the Teams.txt do i find this value? And if i were to use sergepatcher what would i do then?

Repair your bot and don't move on. Instead exit out of RA2 and open up the Teams/Teams.txt and scroll to the bottom of the given team's reference. The last entry should have 3 numbers in it and you want to change the middle one so that it equals 40 (the maximum value supported by RA2).
