In need of Robo Zone 2 house robots.
« on: August 23, 2012, 08:59:42 PM »
(Was unsure where to put this topic)

I'm looking for 3 house robots for my upcoming stock tournament:

1. A  BW that is well-built and powerful but can be beaten by 2 antweights every now and then if the antweights are good enough.
2. A "Box" robot with no weapons but lots of defence all over it, mostly low hit point objects (such as extenders) are to be used and it must have some casters or some form of defence on the bottom to make it also difficult for pop-ups/wedges to defeat.
3. A powerful hybrid LW, it must be decent against all types of antweights so frontal defence or a wedge is a must. It should have 2 weapon systems.

You can post screenshots of the robots here and I will let you know if I wish to use them.

What weight class would you want the "box" robot to be in?

any as long as it has a little bit of movement and has defence all over it, it will work.

How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

For this and all your Robo Zone 2 stuff, you can just start a Robo Zone 2 thread in Forums --> Robot Arena 2 --> Tournaments --> Discussion. As long as you have Discussion as the thread icon, that thread is only used for planning out the tournament and discussing the rules, so you don't have to worry about it suddenly getting moved to Signups unless you switch to the Ready for Signups icon . I don't think you've been here in a while so you probably found that the tournament system is a bit different.

BTW I don't think there will be too many AW popups. :P

It's possible, I made a FS/HS hybrid with a plow some time ago and something like that would work well for this.

Here's a potential BW house robot.

DSA, and that's the end position of the Snapper2. Obviously dangerous if it gets under a bot, but being a narrow popup it's easily flanked and can't defend more than one side. I don't think it's capable of getting OHKOs on an AW, or if it is, it almost certainly won't do it on its first try. That may be a good or bad thing, I'm not sure how good "well-built and powerful" meant. I mean, if you just wanted a really good BW I could just build an HS.

yeah if i were you i would just do a generic 3 iron ztek hs with plastic so that 2 aws will only be able to beat it some of the time
that will probably get beaten by 2 aw rammers once any one of the bots goes towards its sides, would make a good regular bw though

also planning to do a cp4-esque spinner with a plow and possibly 4 razors on the front at the cost of armor for my lw

EDIT: hoping to be able to put a BLAPCK on there aswell
