My origional post didn't go through so i'm going to be short...

I'm loosing any hopes of getting back into RA2, to some of you thats good... but i'm better than I used to be.

My idea is that we make a Halo mod for RA2.

don't think i'm doing nothing ok... i'm gona help as much as possible. I can rip models from halo on the computer. you guys make parts out of them and make replica arena's and bots.

I don't have 3ds but I have a modeling program that can export to .3ds if needed.

Please, this will be fun and maybe a last hurah for RA2. It will be something to get me back into RA2 for a while and I might get some halo fans into this game... who knows.

I hope this is all legal as the Halogen project someone was doing got shut down. This should be legal because there is no storyline and all content is going to be copyright to them not us at all. I can also get us skins so don't worry about that.

So lets have some fun and do this, what do ya say?

Umm....

RA2 isn't equal to Halo.

How the HECK you could make the Havok engine even handle halo models? And the Havok engine isn't for sure build for anything which is related with FPS genre.

If you want to turn RA2 to Halo go ahead, try. I think you won't succeed on that one.

RA2 is meant to be bots fighting each other not some sort of halo guys on vechicles to fight against each other.

No no no... make VEHICLES, with guns on them and stuff... do you think that from the oh i duno 3+ years i've been on the RA2 scene I haven't learned that you can't change this game around to make anything else?

It'll be like the DSL mod but only with halo... please think alittle dude.

Oh yeah you are that one guy. Sorry your signature and new avatar confused me and I didn't remember you right away.

But still even we would build up only vehicles which would have guns and stuff on them, it would take some time because even the next upcoming 2.1 patch has been coming for a while. I think this could be done but you would have to find this mod's makers from somewhere else.

It might also be possible to make a RA2 themed map for HALO CE with drivable robots and deathpits. It would take quite a bit of work, but somone was able to make a Legend of Zelda mod for Halo CE. Why not Robot Arena? :)

Sorry for double posting, but I just got an idea that has nothing to do with my last post. How about a HALO-themed arena? It could be made to look like a room in one of the multiplayer maps or even a spot in the campain. Maby someone could reskin the bully from the Schoolyard Arena to look like the Master Chief! :D

I actually did think about an RA2 arena for halo CE but thats alot of work... sorta... well not really. I would do it but my modeling isn't what you call "awsomness."

EDIT: Hey ACAMS, my old acount is actually still on the forums. If it isn't a problem could you just re actuvate that one, if it isn't already, thanks. PM me the new password here though please. I hope thats not too big a deal, I have my own forums and it isn't that hard but I understand if it's just an inconvinience... it's no prob.
