Hey guys, you may not know, but I am also an amatuer graphic designer. So if anyone needs a new avatar, or logo or anything like that, please post an order here. I will do all design work free of charge and as quickly as possible. I will upload some examples of things that I have done for myself.

Looking at your logo, you use a 1px yellow Stroke with the default Drop Shadow on your title. (It looks like a font I'd know but I can't put my finger on it)

And you use a dark blue Outer Glow with increased Spread (Or maybe just a 3 or 4px Stroke) and a Reflected or Linear Gradient Overlay consisting of Blue Yellow Blue Yellow (Blue?) on the subtitle.


Classy.

Just use Photoshop a lot. Guess I am a competent graphic designer though.

I can do alot more. I just prefer to keep my designs fairly simple, but still make them look good.
 
Basically, I save the complex Photoshop work for paying clients.
 
Really I'd rather work with Illustrator and InDesign, but I don't have the money to buy Adobe CS3 or CS4 yet.
 
Edit: Where it says "Team Reject..." is just text, but the Hurricane Designs & Graphics is Photoshop.

Keeping it simple is fine. Look at my sig. It's very simple, yet it's not too simple. Know what I mean?

I would suggest playing around with the style settings. While the default settings are occasionally good, using nothing but defaults is generally a no-no.
