Title: How do you bring yourself to play RA2?
Post by: RpJk on September 06, 2012, 02:00:11 PM: I really want to play RA2 but once I play the game after 2 minutes I get bored and turn the game off.

Does anyone else try play RA2 but get bored quickly and why?

Post by: ty4er on September 06, 2012, 02:06:08 PM: i play ra2 almost all of the time, it's only when i get ideas that i stay on for longer than a minute. i usually just play around with stuff until i get an idea. that or i look around in showcases. ra2ndomiser helps a bit aswell

For me, there's always novelty in smashing up the Stock opponents.

1.Clickbeetle.
2.Antweights.
3.Building unique bots and showcasing them.
4.Tournaments, both hosting and entering.
5.Working on AI packs, Arena skins.

This, which doesn't really happen. And if I'm bored I might mess around with something. Tournaments that I like I'll probably build something for.

I dont mind the occasional modding but really its on the graphics side of things now because it means I get to use photoshop.

SNE was a hope to kickstart things again but as soon as problems start arising im loosing interest fast.

Post by: 11770 on September 26, 2012, 09:32:36 PM: I try to get better, i had lost three rounds of a tournament due to my arm on my bot not having the correct radius, that and it took me half an hour to figure out just some basic components. so i found this site when trying to find a solution to besting those ANNOYING flip bots... and i just want to know what is this dsl and tc modded i see here?

It's a complete rebuild of the game, pretty much. New components, AI bots, arenas, and events. It's pretty cool. I highly suggest trying it out.
