i cant figure out how to get them to work. i put them in the components section. it shows them as zip files.
-
You must EXTRACT them in the components section.
-
when i extract them, they show up as a CFZ file and cant be opened.
-
The CFZ file is a compressed component file that is in your main RA2 directory.
But tell me exactly what components are you trying to get to work... i will be able to help then.
-
the lt_tank_trax, lt_beltdrive, nigtmare disk, and dragon motor. the trax and beltdrive show up as an application. when i click on them, i click run, then unzip. then it says 8 items unzipped. but still does not work.
-
I won't help you to use cheat parts.
However you can get DSL-TC (in my signature)... there are tank tracks, as well as Nightmare, and belt drive motors.
-
yes get dsl instead of custom components
the only component you should consider is antimatter. great for making shws
-
Or Mad's Smartzones.
-
yes smartzones that weigh only like .1
-
what are smartzones? where do i put DSL-TC to download?
-
In my signature. There is a link.
Also you just need to extract the thing and play.
-
when i try to play in the arenas, the ground is flat in the king of the hill match. and how do i creat a shortcut for the DSL? whenever i go to play the game, it has to extract all the files first.
-
i got the arenas figured out now, but i still cant figure out how to get the shortcut on the dsktop. is there a way i can speed up the game play a bit? my computer is slow when playing in the obstacle course.

A smartzone is a little area which you can add to tell you where a certain weapon goes where
ex. put a big circuler one in the projectery of a whipper
-
so how can i get it where i have a desktop icon for the game, and be able to play saved games? whenever i try to play i have to extract the files, and then i dont have my saved game. how can i fix this?
-
Smart Zones are variously shaped transparent, non-collision objects, specifically placed on a bot, so that when its area is violated by another bot, it will trigger a weapon, motor, piston, etc...
.
-
cool. sounds like it will be helpfull once i figure out how to get a desktop icon that works for dsl.
-
If you did it right, COPY the icon & PASTE it on the desktop.
-
i got it working. thanks for all the help.
