-Select all the useless white (with the "clever" selection tool).
-Use "Invert Selection", youll have the logo selected.
-Cut the logo selected and paste it on a grand new .TGA file you created with a transparent background. Beware with TGA's though. They tend to mess and make ugly things in the game

You can also use Giga's tutorial.

EDIT: made this clearer.

Post by: Madiaba on September 04, 2008, 07:09:59 AM: SD, Use the programs Nar mentioned (esp Photoshop). Then read up on the tga "Alpha channel'. Venko was doing a tutorial on it,... don't know if he's done yet. These are common in RA2.

I have several problems with skinning the RA2 TGA's with Gimp, in fact after editing the TGA the file size changes and it messes up everything.

Hope you will include to fix that. I will read very carefully your post for sure.
