Title: Hard Time Positioning Components
Post by: HurricaneAndrew on June 09, 2009, 12:58:37 AM
I am having trouble with positioning components. It's anytime I try to position anything outside of the chassis (such as a wheel onto a motor shaft). The mouse has to be positioned just right for it to let me place the component. And its really annoying when you have actually rotate the component.

Does anyone know what the problem is and a solution to it? Or is it just normal?

Well, it sounds like a similar problem, but I'm on stock (aside from the Starcore v3 AI pack) and also, I have tried to leave it and come back, but it keeps doing it.

What do you mean by 'not allowing you to attach'?

Is the component in red or you just have a hard time hovering?

It won't hover long enough on the point that I want to attach it to.

That's weird. The solution in the other topic should have worked.

This time, close the game and reopen it again.

HA, if you hit the 'Windows' button to step out of the game, and then click to get back in:
-the components will be very hard to attach
-importing and exporting bots will take an eternity

So if you do go to Windows while RA2 is still running, when you return to RA2 go into the garage immediately and then back to the lab and things will be right again.
