Title: Getting More Power out of DDT Burst Motors
Post by: BATTLEMASTER IIC on February 23, 2010, 04:32:49 PM: I'm working on a robot that looks like a big crab and it has these arms which I desire to use in a sort of crushing action with axes or any other of my favorite blades on the ends.

I know that spin motors can be stacked to gain more power, plus the addition of batteries, but is there a way to get more power out of the burst motors besides adding more batteries?

Running two DDT bursts with 4 Supervolt batteries and as many pink ones as I can fit.

Post by: RedSawn on February 23, 2010, 04:42:33 PM: Your best bet is custom motors. Thoses DDTs are adequately powered by the Supervolts alone, any more and it's just being wasteful.

There's only so much you can do with a motor, especially balanced ones.

I'll try DSL again at some point. It really blew my mind when I first tried it.
