Title: Flip Test Dummy challenge
Post by: Badnik96 on August 11, 2011, 11:49:02 PM: Because the old thingy was fun and I had an idea (also with all these FSS and stuff it'll be cool to see how absurdly fast we can do it) :3

RULES:
bot killing FTD MUST be LW

We're going by "pics or it didn't happen", a screenshot of your kill necessary

There will be a leaderboard, fastest to slowest time, ties will be broken by post time (say the first 17 second time will be ahead of the second). You can attempt multiple times, every attempt will be on the board.

Arena: Replica Wars arena (or RA2TC arena with hazards off)

Kill Flip Test Dummy (The Scrappers Bot3) in as fast a time as possible with a LW. OOTAs count.

To avoid the leaderboard being covered with OOTAS, I created 2 leaderboards, one for OOTAS and one for KO's.

madman3- FTD Challenge- 3 seconds
NFX- Keystone 3- 3 seconds
Kurt Wylde- Flying Physics XIII- 4 seconds
king mushroom- Havok Ant- 7 seconds
SKBT-Jaws of Defeat-oota'd itself :gawe:

KO LEADERBOARD
Kurt Wylde- Pepperpot Punch 2- 7 seconds

That means.....Uhw is allowed, aw, bw, what ever.Just, no custom components.

It took many, many tries to get him out.
And I had to drive it myself, because AI is somehow incapable of holding forward down.

Plus it isn't an inertia powered flipper, which is cool.

Nope Ava because its restricted to this arena. Unless you would be changing it to all arena's for the "hardcore" one, but i reckon that would be too free and wouldn't really be a challenge, just fighting Flip Test Dummy in random arena.

I was actually thinking of a really small arena big enough for 1 bot, and then putting the A.I's spawn outside the arena.

Well, that's the only real option for a rep flipper like Chaos 2. So yes, I swapped out the lifter motor for a Judge, and changed the values of the drive motors and armour to more realistic extents, improving it tenfold in both accuracy and fighting capabilities.

There's no rule saying I can't try :P

17 seconds with an older Final Z that didn't make it to BBEANS6 (and prolly would have failed if I did enter it)

I also will score it this way:If a tie is made for times:It works like this:KO beats pitting, pitting beats oota.Ko basically wins a tie no matter what,unless its another ko.Pinnings takes a good 14 secs for a detection and a count so no dice.If theres a identical score(Ko VS ko with same timeor similar) Then the lighter class wins.if same class then we have a tie.
