What are YOUR favorite arenas? Here are mine:

* Ra2tt
* BBEANS mk 2 arena
* Electric Arena 2
* AON arena 2
* DSL tournament arena
* Octagon arena
* Combat arena

Combat Arena and BBEANS4 and 5 arenas. I dont usually use any other than Combat Arena, but I do sometimes use the BBEANS ones.

To put it short, the simple arenas.

That being said, fun hazards are cool.

Would like the Octagon more if there wasn't any pits.

Although I like plain arenas when testing bots, the arenas with hazards are much more fun.
My favourite is the RW arena, there's nothing better than pushing a dead bot onto the drop zone, flipper, or pit (before descending it, just to watch them fall :D)

My favorite is the Epic Showdown arena... it's just so detailed and dramatic.  FB did an awesome job with the gmf work and skinning.  All it's missing is a dramatic intro that plays "O Fortuna" while lightning flashes behind the bots (something I might add if I ever get the time :gawe: )


But for testing bots I usually use the combat arena, the BBEANS arena, or whatever arena is being used for the tournament I'm planning to enter.

IMO the BBEANS V1 is better than the v2 because the V1 has no flippers. (I dont like arena flippers)

However, why do the robots just drive down the pit in the onslaught arena 50 percent of the time & would it not be better if you could have 4 robots in it?

Onslaught Arena was made for online matches, so no AI coding exists.

I tweeked this arena.gmf to have 4 starting points, and it works much better.
Ideally, though, it should have the py also modded to add "AddCollisionLines" and let the AI know the pit is there.... if anyone has the time...
