Yes i have.
-
That is the BotsIQ arena right?
-
two super heavyweight robots in a small arena just doesnt work
-
i saw that and i was rather bored with it. i just dont like disector i think that hes not destructive at all. all he does is pin other bots in awkward positions
-
not forgetting its cheap win over Final Destiny lol
-
:-Dthat too:-D

as if final destiny was any good in the first place?
-
from what I heard the blade was incredibly powerful it through 2 swarm robots into the polycarbonate walls
-
Actually, it threw one of them so hard that it banked off of two of the walls several feet up. Oddly enough, that robot just kept running!
EDIT: I just noticed something. Diesector's wheels are the GrannyGuards.
-
I have only read jims write up from the match havent seen the video

If I remember, those grey wheels he had were wheel chair wheels. I think the motors that ran the wheels were the same ones the guy used for his job which was making motorized wheel chairs.

Cheap win? So if you were taking on an opponent who, you claim was destructive, and you had an attachment you could use to get in there and stop him you wouldn't use it?
-
I dont think modifications before a match are all that fair... you build your robot and you fight it for what it is
-
What did they modify in their match against Final Destiny? It looked like the same yellow pincer weapon we saw in all its matches.
-
they closed the pincers and put a piece of metal on them turning them into more of a scoop so it could flick the wedges into the blade

I agree. Mainly because I think Tornado is a cheat, but whatever. Although...
so it could flick the wedges into the blade
That's pretty smart.

tornado is a bit different as it was interchangeable but the frame was still the worst thing ever, it made a mockery of the sport, who makes there robot creat a mach with 0 damage from either competitor, it was dramatic when razor fought back but they was the only bit of excitement
series 7 had the best grand final imo
-
Didn't the frame have a spinner weapon, but Razer eventually pushed it in so much that it was hitting the body?

tornado was the same thing. that extender diesector added was interchangable. the whole tornado thing wiht razor was really smart though.

yeah at the last moment razor got a grip on the body of tornado and carried them to the pit but they didn't fit into the pit.
Id like to see Toro take on Sir Killa Lot. He weighs about 2000 pounds and the Toro team stated they could lift the arm at 2000 pounds. It might lift him but I don't know if he could turn him over.
-
tornado had only a lawn mower blade of the frame which broke on contact with Razor,
everyone is entitled to there opinions, Ive justified mine, no need to debate it, you think modifying a robot is ok, I understand that,
what I said has nothing against an individual robot, I think the mutant robots team is really cool but i personally think modifying a robot between rounds to suit opponents inst really fair,

Of course I haven't seen! Why? I don't care of battlebots!

Just cause I'm curious, whats so bad about battlebots? I always prefered it over Robot wars because you get three full minutes versus only aminute and a half. Its always a single elimination. 4 weight classes and no house bots to interfere. Just a bunch of hazards. Luckily you don't have to worry about being tossed out of the arena either. Although that almost happened in battlebots once.
-
lucky the Battlebox had top plexi or the crowd might have gotten more sunshine lollibot then they bargained for :P

actually in a fight season 4 nightmare and junkyard offspring a piece flew up and knocked out a camera.
-
in the season 5 nightmare took out a set of lights and then a tooth flew though the top plexi which resulted in the cancellation off all other rumbles
-
That tooth landed in the audience and Nightmare did some derious damage to the floor.
-
if memory serves Betahurtz wasn't allowed/ able to compete because the electro magnets were so strong they were bending and warping the floor and it could move as a result
-
Most of Deadblow's matches were lost due to technical difficulties.
