Title: DSL vs. Ironforge
Post by: Bluenova65 on January 20, 2016, 02:54:46 PM
Hello people of GTM,

I have played around a bit with the base game, and I think I have a pretty good feel for it.  I was wondering what mod I should go for next. If anyone could explain to me the differences between Ironforge and DSL that would be great!  Also if there is already an article for this I couldn't find it.

Thanks so much,

Bluenova65

All depends on what you're looking for!
DSL has a larger selection of components as well as some real life bot replicas, whereas Ironforge has a smaller, more concentrated selection where the motors tend to be very powerful.
Check out some showcases and see what you think, or download both and give them both a shot! :D

ironforge is made with game balance as utmost priority, DSL is with variety in mind
but yeah feel free to play both. just don't mix the mods.

Awesome thanks guys!  I tried both and I think im going to start with DSL for now.  I've got the basics down, but, if there is a good guide/tutorial out there, the link would greatly be appreciated.
