DSL TC General Q&A
« on: April 24, 2010, 09:33:23 PM »
General discussion should have a general question section xP

For example:

Whats the best selection of batteries for two TWMR3 Drives and 1 mag burst? Is mag burst that much better than the green one?
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

BSG > Mag Snapper

Anyways, 2W Mag drive plus 1 BSG needs 4 ants minimum, and since you are most likely talking about your LW popup you don't need more for battery power.

You'll never make it good.

It's already quite hard to make a good 2WD MW with 1 Beta burst at this point... but 4WD = unefficient

LW probably. However, there is an extremely simple way to find out.

With custom components or stock or DSL?
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I know there are guidelines for how many ants you need for a burst, however, is it more about amps for bursts? e.g. when powering a burst (say 2 wheels already have 2 ants) would it be better to use 1 battlepack (more amps) or 2 ants? Just trying to sort my mind out :P

Battlepacks work for me, they're a little more weight efficient than 3 ants so long as you have the space. They work even better in bots with JX's.
