Right, since people liked the idea I'm getting to work on the GMFs to fix attachment points, starting with Tornado's wedge. I've already got the attachment point to face the right way but I'd like to know everyone's opinion on this: Where should the attachment point be, at the top of the wedge, or at the centre of the wedge?
If you can't put multiple APs I would prefer the top.
I didn't think of multiple attachment points... now I feel stupid. Thanks for reminding me I could do that :)

Edit: Tornado wedge is pretty much done! Picture:

I feel like you should keep the previous attachment point too though, so old bots arent affected.

That's a good point, I'll add that back in now then.

Good. Yeah, previous AP will be useful for preventing too much components syndrome.

Thanks for what you are doing lemonism, send me these GMF's whenever you feel there are enough.

I have edited the original point back in, as per Scrap's suggestion. I'll send it you now that I'm happy it's done, unless you have any other points.

And I posted too quickly before you edited, so we're both guilty :P
Now that I've finished tornado's wedge, can anyone tell me another component to work on? I can't remember which other ones have messed up attachment points.

thank god someone is doing something about the ridiculous attachments points on the replica parts. maybe make it so you can actually rotate them in the component window in a manner where you can actually see them as well?

Yeah, this isn't going forward because changing all them .txt files is very boring and repetitive, unlike choosing stats for the new components and actually balancing. Especially when you have to do 20 dsl bars in a row.

It will happen though, first release will be weapons.

Does anyone has a program or macro that can automatically change text inside TXT's ?

are you also going to balance the "cheatbot2" components? (I.E Buzzard wheels, storm wheels etc. etc.)

Yup. But after I balance every normal component.

There will be no balancing of stock components however.

i'm not sure if i want to make this NAR AI v2 without AI or just keep it a rebalance pack.

What annoys me in dsl is the large amount of redundant components in extenders and armor tabs. I feel like deleting them but that would cause replica issues.

Unless you guys would like to remake replicas with the rebalanced components...

So, drunk, finishing them weapons. Expect a release in a few minutes.

It will contain all the new weapons txt's + the tornado wedge and the firestorm flipper GMF's, fixed.
