Hard to believe of all the people that downloaded DSL 1.0 that not one of you kept the the zip file.


I am still around and I will hunt some of my older machines.


Has anyone Google Searched the Internet for the exact name of the container file?

If you look back far enough in the DSL showcase you can see weedy, ham, and RA2lover use DSL 1.0

There's the first page of Mr Weedy's original DSL showcase- shows quite a few pictures of how it used to look. ACAMS apparently has that interface on his RA2.
 
 
And one more thing...does anyone know what the original DSL teams were? I can only remember two off the top of my head- "House Robots", which had Growler, Matilda and Sir Killalot, and "Stark Industries", which had Pussycat, Firestorm and Chaos 2.

You can see in the  first few pages of pressure's showcase aswell that he used DSL 1.0

No idea what teams were on it :P

However, whilst that site can be viewed on Wayback Machine, it did not archive any of the files themselves. However that topic did turn up this post, the teams for DSL 1.0

I'm mirroring the file as well so that it doesn't get almost lost this time, but someone might want to make an 'idiots' version of this - whilst I can do exhibiton matches and they work fine, Team HQ is broken. It's probably due to me not knowing how to install it properly.

DP yes i did it! the key is to install every thing to a new empty TEMP folder NOT the robot arena 2 folder. once you have done that, then you copy paste everything into the robot arena 2 folder.

Which it said to do in the Readme ;)

Can anyone else confirm or deny the Team HQ page being screwed up by the UI? I've managed to fix the problems I was having viewing Teams by deleting the Ui folder and replacing it with the DSL 2.1 version. However I want to know if it's something i'm doing wrong on my PC, or if it's a common issue.
