Can someone tell me how to download the game. It seems really hard. I love watching robot arena 2 on youtube, there are not any other good robot combat games out there. I really want to download robot arena 2 dsl, the game with all the robot wars robots, because I don't have robot combat games and i want one to play. I don't understand the whole downloading robot wars replicas so can you tell me about that. Please tell me how to download the game.

Robot Arena 2 can be downloaded here.
DSL can be downloaded here.

To download replicas (or, any robot), go to the Robot Exchange and click a weight class, then just hope there's a robot you want, either that or just wait a million years 'til someone's made a replica of one that you want... or just request one to Resetti, hah.

1) Download it
2) Open it with J-zip
3) Drag the folder in there to your desktop
4) Open that folder
5) Double-click 'Robot Arena 2.exe'

How do i download peoples robots, I am playing the DSL and i can only play as my bots, their are robots from battlebots and robot wars but i can't play as them, so how do I:
Download peoples robots
Play as there robots from rw and battlebots

Robot Arena 2/DSL 2.1 (or whatever you named your game folder) > AI > go into any of the Team folders, and copy a robot (in order to know which robot is which, go into Bindings.py with Notepad++, and see) > paste the Bot[number] file in your Robot Designs folder. Then you've got the robots you want.

1) Find the robot you want to download
2) Download it
3) If you want to use it yourself, put it in the 'robot designs' folder and import it in the bot lab in-game. if you want to fight against it, learn to AI.

If you want to fight against your own bots then you need to ai them. Here is a tutorial https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?page=page3951. as for painting your bots either go to the paint job editor in robot arena 2 and edit there or do the same but click export template name the skin whatever you want and tick the export robot chassis then go out of the game. then find the custom texture folder in the ra2 directory and edit it with an editor of your choice.
