Post by: somestrangeguy on July 23, 2009, 12:50:10 PM: Yes, atleast BBEANS4 bots are already, I dont have them anymore because I had to reinstall DSL and I forgot to back up anything at all, so I lost all of my bots and AIs that I had...

But I know that after this BBEANS is done, the stock pack from 1 3 and 5 will be released and after 6 is done the DSL pack from 2 4 and 6 will be released.

I will personally Rip Click's throught out if He Does a SHW one before AW and BW. Why the heck do all DSL tourney's have to be SHW? Jesus, get original...

Yep, and it's going to include more than just the bots too. It will be bundled with every arena used in BBEANS so far, have new menu music (guess what it will be!), and will feature a couple new tournament events in the Team HQ.

For example, there will be a BBEANS1 event, 1 vs 1 in the RA2T2 arena. With the BBEANS1 AI, it will be almost like you're actually competing in BBEANS! And then there will be a BBEANS3 event in the Small Arena, and so on. Maybe Rumble events as well.

Oh, and of course no AI pack worth its salt is complete without a few hidden easter eggs...

Needless to say I'm excited to get this pack released. It won't be too big or complicated (most of the work is already done) but it's going to be good.

AW/BW is a likely candidate for the BBEANS after the DSL pack is released. But that's a LONG way off yet. I was also thinking about a Stock tournament with the realistic rule, just because it would force people to take a completely different approach to bot building. It would be interesting to see what they came up with.

it looks like it wont be the only one... I also have an Easter egg or 2 already in the CCAI pack (not in the beta so dont try to look for it H@z or Craaig lol)

You would be suprised... The AI can drive it quite well actually.
