Title: Backyrd ripper

and is it just me, or does everytime you beat him in the tourniments, the game crashes?

I nominate this Most Random General Discussion Thread of 2009.

Thoughts on Backyard Ripper, eh? Here goes: The angled spinner really only works well on a juggler-type design, so it needs weapons with no normals on the disc, and also some good wedges. Dual discs would also help to keep bots from being thrown off the weapon.

And the game has never crashed after fighting it as far as I can remember (it HAS been a while though).

hase anyone else noticed that BR cansometimes scoop you up with the blade, then flip you with it?

Huh? if you mean to axe his disk off, thats what I do, or ram it which is pretty embarising on the game makers part lol

second hardest? I killed him the second day I owned the game when i was having issues killing grog

yeah I can kill LMF Emergency and coal miner in one fight and I still have only beat Ronin 3 outa 8 times lol

Post by: trumpetguy on December 31, 2009, 10:08:00 PM: Ronin is just annoying. Coal Miner is one of the hardest. Wide Load is underestimated. Bear is strong, even if it has an open chassis. Emergency is decent to say the least. Sentinel sucks. Deadbeat sucks, etc.

I have issues killing deadbeat, bear is OK if you're new but easy to flip I agree with you on wide load but, coal miner the hardest? I killed him the second day i had the game and can thrash him with a wedge

We are talking about Stock bots, and which ones are the hardest in the massive amount of fail and "What the heck were they thinking?" compared to modern building. Piss off.

Modding started: Sovreign AI, RFS AI, BB AI and Ubermod
Modding mainstream: DSL 1, RFS 1.5 and Starcore 1.
A Bit Later: RA2GE and Starcore 3
Today: NAR AI, IIAI and god knows what else.

So, you are defending Natef for being Off Topic.

Back on topic, If you can beat 2 EMERGENCY's in a team match you should find a different AI pack.
