Please stop multiple posting, that's actually against our rules here. I'll edit your 4 down to 2 but in future please use the modify button. :)

What kind of things do you specifically need help with?

I mean, what are you struggling with in the building process?

ha where to start!  well for starters the robot is extremely weak I'll post another picture of my version of it later and you'll see its a wreck I think may have to redraw the chassis.  Another factor is Ai'ing the robot so that I can do the tournaments I've planned for.

Specifically for the moment I'd say the main construction it's self. I know what I want in my head like for example my attempt at dead metal but it's hard making things work the way I had pictured.

Finally just a brief question for robots such as growler and Sir killalot how would I transfer them for one mod to another without the crashing?

Okay, well once you upload the picture i'll see if I can help :)

As for the tranfering of bots, you'd have to copy across all of the custom components and their text files for the robots. Obviously, if a component is missing from the game's files it won't be able to load them into the game and it will crash due to the missing components.

how would I be able to find what components they used?

The .bot file.
Honestly if you're still learning these bits I'd recommend not trying to transfer stuff between mods, you will end up getting conflicts and things not working as you expected etc

Following on from Craaig's point, I hope you make a copy of your game folder before you try to fiddle with the game files. Don't want you ruining your game ;)

Can anyone explain this error?

Did this happen when you clicked start game?

If so, you probably missed a component.

Yeah but I'm confused I transferred everything that was listed in the bot file.  Since then I've been able to use the robot my self but the computer refuses

Just gonna say it and I know you'll ignore but...
DON'T put other replicas from other mods into RWRA2, they won't be scaled right and may not be the same quality, and you may end up messing up a bunch of replicas in copying components over.
We think that RWRA2's literal masses of robots are worthy of enjoying without tampering... :)

you messed up the ai line, renaming the bot file, or something in the teams.txt

It was just more of an experimental thing to see if could get it to work, but to avoid the errors I may aswell build them

I have even touched the. Txt file, the only change I made was from bot5.bot to bot2.bot

Is this still from you trying to transfer bots from one mod to another?

My advice would be to just build the bots yourself. It's much more rewarding that way as well. I remember when I did my Iron Awe 2.1 replica, even though it wasn't the greatest, I felt so accomplished and good about myself when I completed it.

Yeah I've realised I may have to have to come to that same conclusion but in that case when it comes to the Ai part of it may I if someone is able to do that part for me if I upload it

I'd be happy to help. You should really learn how to AI for your own benefit however. There are a few good tutorials on the forum.

PM me the bot and just say what you intend it to do and I'll do it for you :)

Alright man ;)
How do you attach files on PM?

Upload the bot file to the bot exchange, then find it in the downloads section and copy/paste the link.
