That's what mine looks like, notice it has your missing bit in it.

I've tried adding that missing bit manually and then trying to use a DSL bot, but it always comes up with the same message, and when ever I next go to look at the file, it is missing that bit again. Is there anything I can do?

Why not just paste the whole thing in, deleting the previous one. Only thing to change will be your player name and a setting or 2, and may sound stupid but just check you save it then load RA2 up, I make that mistake when AIing a lot o.o

I've just tried, checked and double checked it all, but it still won't let me use it.

Meh my cfg does say 0 instead of 1 next to the nonstandard etcetc, change it and see what happens.

You hit, "save" after you added it, right? Because if that's not it, I don't know why it would disappear...

That would definitely help some.
