Title: The Collins Custom Showcase
Post by: Probably Rob on March 22, 2013, 09:02:35 PM
Decided to finally make a Custom Showcase, and to start off, here's Insignia:

And to avoid starting off with only one, here's a second... this is Clerisy:

Yeah Insignia looks really cool.

unrealistic

I was hoping for a better review than just "unrealistic", but alright. Could you maybe elaborate, why? (this isn't a hostile re-response, by the way)

The blade looks like it cuts through the motor's axle. Not by much, though. Maybe it isn't unrealistic.

also, your extender work is pretty fragile. Strictly all of the stock extenders you use have very low HP and will cripple your bot if they get ripped off.

(this isn't a hostile re-response, by the way)

...what

Thank you, yeah, the blade slightly clips through.

(this isn't a hostile re-response, by the way)

...what

To me, the way I worded it sounded hostile; I apologize for anything, hah.

The wider version of Con's So' Fo' Th' We': Cheap Surgery 3.

Better. Extenders still are very fragile.

That looks really good.

Very very nice, but I fail to see what makes this showcase a custom showcase...

cheatbot2 =/= custom components

I use Firebeetle parts.

The robot that's appropriate for children, makes its re-debut in a Showcase: Elvira.

However, the kids didn't read the "WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD" label.

So here's the even more child friendly successor: Elvira 2.

okay, okay hold on here.

Insignia: I see stock extenders, twm3rs, beaters, casters, shiny hubs and drums. Mostly cheatbot2
Clerisy: Beaters, stock extenders, casters, a perm, a DSL bar and ruiner parts (I think). Still, cheatbot2
Cheap Surgery 3: Drums, beaters, stock extenders, DSL wheels and a flatmotor. Ditto.
Elvira: Hypno wheels, DSL disks, beaters, and the only possibly custom parts I see are whatever is sticking out of the top and the spin motor, but that was before my post.
Elvira 2: Stackable Gothic axes, a different looking burst with a different attachment point, skinned hexplates(?), and then hypnos, steel extenders and a Y-extender. Again, before my post.

And, I don't even use Firebeetle's custom components pack, so I had no idea. Sheesh.

but stock parts are in dsl cheatbot2...

you got me with the effe though. Usually I forget all about glitches when I see DSL

Very happy with this one: Strata.

I'm even more happy with the one I made after this; I cannot show it at this moment in time.

A stock in a custom showcase. Why? Because I'm addicted to this bloody burst motor: The Soar Project.

Do the Tri-Speeder from Mario Kart 8. Two wheels at the front, one at the back.

It's currently unnamed, so all of you have the chance to rename: It.

Also it looks pretty well, though the skin could be more detailed.
